Checkout page

Send an existing customer to a Bunny-hosted checkout page for one price list, using a portal session token created on your server.

The checkout page lets an existing customer subscribe to a price list without you building any UI. It is the hosted version of the Checkout component. To sign up someone who has no account yet, use the Signup page.

Important: The link needs a portal session token for the customer’s tenant. Read Portal session token first.

Construct the checkout page URLLink to Construct the checkout page URL section

https://[SUBDOMAIN].bunny.com/portal/checkout
    ?priceListCode=[PRICE_LIST_CODE]
    &token=[TOKEN]
    &couponCode=[COUPON_CODE]
  • [SUBDOMAIN]: Your Bunny account subdomain (e.g., acme if you access Bunny via https://acme.bunny.com).
  • [PRICE_LIST_CODE]: The code for the price list the customer subscribes to.
  • [TOKEN]: A portal session token for the customer’s tenant, created on your server with portalSessionCreate. It expires after expiry hours (default and maximum 24), so create it when the customer clicks through rather than storing the link.
  • [COUPON_CODE] (optional): A coupon code applied automatically, if valid.

The page fills in the billing details from the customer’s account, so there are no default-value parameters as on the signup page.

Example

Suppose you have the following:

  • SUBDOMAIN: acme
  • PRICE_LIST_CODE: business-annual
  • TOKEN: 12345 (from portalSessionCreate for the customer’s tenant)

Then the checkout page link would look like this:

https://acme.bunny.com/portal/checkout?priceListCode=business-annual&token=12345

You can copy this link with a TOKEN placeholder from the plan’s Buy links tab in Bunny: choose Existing customer · checkout link and a price list, then replace TOKEN with the token from your server.
