# Amendments
On the account's subscription tab, you can perform a number of subscription actions depending on the state of the subscription, for example:
* Renew
* Reinstate
* Change
* Cancel
* Change plan
Each action will create a new quote where you can specify the details of the change.
### Change quantity
The steps for changing price or quantity is the same. To change the quantity, select **Change quantity** from the ... menu on the charge line.
Next, select the effective date of the change and the new quantity.
Once you have clicked Enter or OK, the change will appear as a blue line below the charge. This is also what will end up on the invoice.
The change is prorated with the current period. In this example, this is from Jul 1, 2025 to Apr 29, 2026.
