Quote states
The states a Bunny quote moves through, from draft, approval and sharing to viewed and accepted, and what you can do in each.
When working with quotes, it is helpful to understand that a quote goes through different states and the operations that are possible depend on exactly which state the quote is in.
The diagram illustrates the possible state transitions.
Quote states
DraftLink to Draft section
The quote is still being worked on. This is the only state in which the quote can be modified. Once the quote is in the approval process or has been shared, no changes can be made.
SharedLink to Shared section
The quote has been shared with the customer, but not yet viewed. The quote can also be unshared, which will make it impossible for the customer to view it.
ViewedLink to Viewed section
The customer has viewed the quote.
Accepted Link to Accepted section
The customer has accepted and signed the quote in the portal. At this point, the typical next step is to apply the quote to the account.
ApprovedLink to Approved section
The quote has successfully gone through the approval process and has been approved by all approvers.
RejectedLink to Rejected section
The quote was rejected by an approver.
In approvalLink to In approval section
The quote triggered an approval rule and is waiting for its approvers. It can’t be changed or shared until the approval process is complete.
AppliedLink to Applied section
The quote’s changes have been applied to the account’s subscriptions.
UndoneLink to Undone section
The quote was applied and then undone, so its subscription changes have been reversed.
